Transitional Leadership Coaching

Transitional Leadership Coaching is a proven methodology that helps new leaders take control of their own start, maximize their path to success and effectively build a sustainable, high performing culture and team. (The specifics will be customized based on the assignment).
Transitional Leadership Coaching is delivered over the first half of a leader's promotion or expanded role (from within or outside of the company).
Our Process:
- Coach discussions via zoom video conference and/or telephone around the targeted behavioral objectives on a schedule to be mutually determined by the Leader and Coach (typically every two to four weeks)
- Conduct personal interviews via phone with early Stakeholders (small, trusted group invested in starting success) to determine critical leadership behavioral success attributes
- Review input, gain agreement, and identify leadership behaviors most important for success
- Create transitional behavioral goal(s) incorporating insights from early Stakeholders
- Manage day one communication and messaging
- Execute regular feedback loop with Stakeholders
- Develop and execute first 100-day Action Plan
- Conduct New Leader Assimilation session with direct reports to accelerate introductory period (virtually or in-person, 4-hour meeting)
- Assess, understand, and assimilate into Client’s culture
- Identify and invest in early wins
- Create Post Coaching Transition Plan
After completion of Transitional Leadership Coaching, we recommend continuing through our Executive Coaching for remainder of the first year. This includes conducting 360-degree feedback with stakeholders to gain insights to keep Leader on course.
